Get your free ticket now! Show your support for gender equality and be part of our movement for change by joining the #March4Women event in London at 12.00 on Sunday 5th March.
Kick-starting a month of action for a more equal world, CARE’s annual celebration to mark International Women’s Day is a great way for everyone – women, men, girls, boys and people of all genders and identities – to come together for a day of inspiration and entertainment.
The event will be led by Dr Helen Pankhurst, great-granddaughter of suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst, London Mayor Sadiq Khan and Bianca Jagger.
There will be live music and entertainment from big name stars, speeches by feminists and activists, a march across the iconic Tower Bridge and a mass CARE-aoke sing-a-long led by Melanie C, VV Brown, Kate Nash and more!
Inspiring words from feminists and activists, including Helen Pankhurst, great granddaughter of Suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst, and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, and live music and entertainment from Billy Bragg and Beth Orton (and other special guests).
Raise your voice for a mass sing-a-long to the classic Aretha Franklin song ‘RESPECT’. Led by Olympic ceremony composer David Arnold and vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant, you can CARE-aoke along with a host of famous singers including Melanie C, VV Brown, Kate Nash, Laura Mvula, Tallia Storm, Tanita Tikaram and Preeya Kalidas. This is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing with the stars!
Join the #March4Women across the iconic Tower Bridge – we’ll have some placards and banners available on the day, but please bring your own too. Let’s make the march a festival of colour and a positive demonstration of the power and potential of gender equality.
This is really exciting and I shall be attending lets celebrate !!
